“I’m currently in the process of researching and practicing my new wearable art project.

It’s about slow time, about critiquing fast-fashion culture, about small sculptural forms, and about my desire to ground myself and slow down through hours of physical handwork.

All tops are unique and handmade by me.

I think of these pieces as clothing, but also as part of your identity — since clothing is one of the most accessible ways to express yourself.

One thing I can promise: if your top gets damaged, I’ll be happy to repair it. I don’t believe in throwing things away, but in loving and caring for them.

And here’s a not-so-fun fact:

the fashion industry is among the top 5 polluters of the environment and one of the biggest exploiters of cheap labor.

I also have questions for myself about the ethics behind every step of creating these tops — but I try to do it as carefully as possible. For example, I often use second-hand fabrics, giving them a second life. ”
