An allusion to the dark side of euphoria in recovery, Pink Cloud Syndrome is an audiovisual portrait of artifice in motion. The outgrowth of what began as a series of runway show commissions for fashion designer Julianna Bass, the work has its mirror here outside that context, sewn together from behind-the-scenes mobile footage and concept visuals. It then becomes simply musical reverie and visual deconstruction, musing on all our desire for euphoric change, and the realities that lie beyond.
