“Detroit Underground released a collection of my music videos from 2012 to 2018.

It is interesting that is recorded on a VHS cassette.
⠀
I have a very reverent attitude towards old video technologies. A film is something that can be felt, it is fragile and vulnerable.
⠀
As a child, I didn’t have many tapes with my favorite cartoons or movies but I would watch through until they decay, it was a kind of meditation because you know what’s gonna happen in advance without surprises, calmly and peacefully.

Sometimes I miss these times, not only because of nostalgia but also because of the safe information space, which could not break into some mundane terrifying news about the political absurdity and global cataclysms.

My graduate work at the school of contemporary art was about this old technologies.
⠀
Later we created this our own @vhsrecords with a friend @maryanaskina a project that is slowly but surely developing.
By the way, if you are an artist who works at the junction of video and music, and want to publish your work on tapes as a bonus, please be free writing to us about this, we are always looking for new talents.
